Clara Edytha Henry was born July 3, 1921 in Herschel, Sask. and passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 in the Kipling Health Center.  The funeral service was held in the Hermon United Church, Fletwode District, Kennedy, Sask. on Sunday, September 14, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Barbara Wilkins officiating. Interment followed in the Fletwode Cemetery.

Clara was predeceased by her husband Robert and siblings: Joyce, Lorna and Austin. She is survived by daughters Donna (Terry) Culling and Cherlynn Henry; son John Henry; three grandchildren: Cory (Carla) Culling, Kyla (Joe) Matz and Allison (Curtis) Jerome; seven great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Mary Jean (Kearns) Uhrich, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 21, 2008 at Willowdale Lodge, Kipling, Sk. at the age of 82 years. The funeral service was held on Monday, August 25, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Zion Lutheran Church, north of Windthorst with Rev. Sang Rog Choi officiating.  Interment of cremated remains followed in the Windthorst Cemetery.  The urn bearer was Bert Uhrich.

Jean was predeceased by her parents Mike and Annie (Lamb) Kearns; first husband of 28 years, Arthur Biesenthal and all of his siblings; her husband of 24 years, Harold Uhrich and all of his siblings; her sister and brother-in-law: Teresa (Kearns) and Bill Hauk; special nieces and nephew Terry Biesenthal, Dorothy Macfarlane and Donalda Hauk. Jean is survived by sisters-in-law Elda Biesenthal, Muriel Uhrich and Elsie Uhrick; and the children of Bill and Teresa Hauk; Arlene (Les) Clark and family, Valerie (Myron) Becker and family, Don (Judy) Hauk and family, Sharon (Fred) Sellars and family. The children of Ed and Alice (Biesenthal) Uhrich claim Jean as their double aunt; Carol (Dennis) Miller and family, Phil (Cyndi) Uhrich and family, Bert (Dalene) Uhrich and family, Larry Macfarlane and family. She is also survived by many Biesenthal/Uhrich cousins, nieces and nephews.

Nicolay (Houle), Mary Yvonne, our dearly loved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away on Thursday Aug. 21, 2008 at the age of 87. Mary was predeceased by her dearly beloved husband Roger in 1971, grandson Dane Jerred in 2005, great grandson Jacob Calnek in 1999, her parents Emma and Narcisse Houle, brothers Arthur and William Houle, and sisters Eva Delaney, Aurore Lambert, Bernadette Larmet, Adele Biesiada, Irene Dionne, Annette Houle, Helen Lamont, Noella Biesiada and Rose Langois. She is survived by her children Georgette (Leigh) Calnek, Manitou Beach SK, Gilbert (Doreen) Nicolay, Regina SK, Andrée (Art) Witham, Etobicoke On, Joseph (Glenna) Nicolay, Etters Beach SK, Marian (Jack) Percy, Vernon B.C., Paul (Sheree) Nicolay, Moose Jaw SK, Paullette (Ken) Biesenthal, Regina SK, Michelle (Kim) Jerred Regina SK, Rock (Margaret) Nicolay, Carlyle SK as well as 25 grandchildren LeRoss (Myrna) Calnek, Milton (Jennifer) Calnek, Trevor (Cindy) Nicolay, Jennifer Nicolay, Lisa Witham, Nicole Witham, Robert Nicolay, Rochelle (Aaron) Werthman, Rene (Kimberly) Nicolay, Rhonda Nicolay, Rebecca Nicolay, Regan Nicolay, Justin (Connie) Percy, Danielle Percy, Kyle Nicolay, Kevin Nicolay, Kenton Nicolay, Dustin Biesenthal, Chad Biesenthal, Amoreena (Bruce) MacEachern, Adam Murray, Pam (Cory Milligan), Joel Nicolay, Morgan Nicolay, Shayna Nicolay and seven great grandchildren Caleb and Ben Calnek, Halle Calnek, Jonathon Percy, Sienna Percy, Naomi and Ryder Milligan. Mary was born Nov. 12, 1920, on the family farm at Broadview Sk. She married Roger Nicolay in 1943 and settled on a farm in the Kipling/Kennedy area. She moved to Kipling in 1972 and to Regina in 1984.

On Friday, July 18, 2008, Sharon Eloise Olson (Damm) of Kipling passed away peacefully at home at the age of 69 years, finally losing her courageous battle with C.O.P.D. The funeral service was held in Christ Lutheran Church, 417 3rd Street, Kipling on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Doug Miner officiating. Allan Edwin Mish, beloved husband of Yolande Mish, Glenavon, Sask., died on Thursday, July 24, 2008, at the age of 73 years surrounded by his family. The funeral mass was concelebrated in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary R.C. Church, Glenavon, Sask., on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. by Rev. Joseph Infante and Rev. Ed Hengen. Cremation with interment in the parish cemetery. Prayers were held in the church on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.  The urn bearer was Michael Gilewicz and the honorary attendants were: Jocelyn Mish, Janelle Mish, Jenna Hardy, Kimberly Hardy, Scott Hardy, Adam Gilewicz, Joey Gilewicz, Dustin Amy and Meagan Amy.

Marjorie was predeceased by her parents, her loving husband Norman Anderson, and 2 sons Ronald and Norman. Marjorie leaves to cherish her memory, daughters: Sherlene (Tim) Heise, grandsons Micheal and Gabriel, Ivadelle Janine (Bob) Rhinas, grandsons Jason and Dustin; Bernita Rundine (Greg) Wilson, granddaughters Chrisy and Carrie; granddaughter Shelley (Bob) Okabe, great granddaughter Jordan; granddaughter Casey Gallagher.

Jim Hutch Hutchison, Kipling, Sask, died suddenly on Monday, May 5, 2008, at the age of 69 years. The funeral service was held in the Kipling Community Hall, Kipling, Sask., on Friday, May 9, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Ron Sutton officiating. Interment in the Hazelwood Cemetery. The eulogy was given by Lori Hutchison-Hunter and the casket bearers were: Riley Levai, Chase Levai, Sheldon Slykhuis, Braden Embury, Justin Lawrence and Jason Hourd.
