Mother’s Day is a day for most of us to show appreciation to our Moms and let them know how much they mean to us. We all celebrate our Moms in different ways, depending on the bond that is shared. I know that a simple card and hug are enough to make my Mom cry, we somehow manage every year to make her emotional. My 4 year-old son saying “Happy Valentine’s Day” and making me paper flowers for Mother’s Day was more precious than anything he could possibly buy.
Many people, in and around Kipling, have been talking about how they kept busy for Mother’s Day. Some have said that they just went for a visit, others did a celebration meal and some went with gifts. Either way, a lot of Moms were appreciated this weekend.
