Do the coffee jitters

Sometimes, I have this hokey pokey kind of morning that only seems to happen when I need my fix. COFFEE!!!!!

Of all things to want in life, no wait, let’s rephrase that. In all things to need in life, why coffee? One person recently made the remark “who thought of taking this bitter bean and making it with hot water,” at least it was something to that effect! She is right though! But…… the aroma of fresh brewed coffee! Mmmm!

I used to be a tea drinker before I met my life of deadlines. I remember saying to so many others, “how could you drink that?” and mean it! Now I need it, black with lotsa sugar! Ok, well maybe a little bit of sugar?! I am happy that I never really got into the coffee and donut combo, though!

I have recently decided that I was going to make some adjustments to what I eat and how often. I haven’t yet considered giving up my morning brew and tasty treats, progress is done in steps…. people!

I am giving up on fried, fatty and finger foods for reasons that they are unhealthy. Like most people, I want to try to make an effort for a healthier lifestyle. I want to have a natural energy, not one made from the morning cups of fresh brewed coffee! Mmmmm!

See, how does a person give up the one thing that makes them happy?!

I have seen the need for those darned energy drinks that so many people need to have in order to function in their day-to-day life. I also see the people who don’t get their energy fix from the drinks because they have become so accustomed to the everyday beverage.

I often wonder if people can be affected the same way by coffee? Thankfully, I haven’t had any personal problems with coffee not keeping my eyelids open, at least so far! I kinda have a feeling that my doom day is near when my cuppa joe no longer picks me up in the morning!

We will have to cross that bridge when we get there, I say we because this will unfortunately affect me and the people around me. I will eventually need a good kick in the rear to get me moving in the morning if this ever happens!
