“Finally some peace and quiet”! I will hear that a lot now! I lost my voice…. Don’t know where it went, but it’s gone! Now I can only imagine all those happy people, especially the husband!
It seems to always happen this time of year, almost like clockwork! I get this weird strain of cold that just doesn’t go away and the end result - I’m a mute! Probably not a bad thing!
However, I am still able to type, so my apologies go out to all of you! I have been so busy the past couple of months, that I hadn’t really realized that I was getting sick, I thought I was just tired! The body gives us warning signs, but it’s something I never really pay a whole lot of attention to! Maybe I should!
I have been told in the past that when I answer a phone I sound like a little girl, I’ve had people call my house for me and asked to speak to my “Mommy”! For now, whenever I answer the phone I sound like a frog going through puberty… it’s horrible! One particular person couldn’t stop laughing on the other end…… although I can’t blame them!
It wasn’t ever nearly as bad to get sick when I was little, I had someone taking care of me, now I have to take care of me, the kids, the canine and the husband. What I wouldn’t give to learn time travel, that or hire a “mommy”!
As I am writing this, I have taken a few meds to take away the aches and pains, downing a hot lemon ‘cold and flu’ drink and feel as though I am already joining the crew in lulla-land…..! ZZzzzz!!!
So, I give my deepest apologies to all out there who may have found this a boring read, but if you need a laugh, you know where I am! I will be more than happy to recite a poem in my frog-tone voice especially for you!
