The Kipling School Kindergarten to Grade 3 pupils put on a colourful and entertaining Christmas concert, December 15 in the Community Centre.

Its theme, “Christmas is our Favorite Time of Year”, showed in the faces and the performances of the youngsters.

John Dayman and Blythe Clemence introduced the opening number, “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town”, by the Grade 3 class.

The Kindergarten rendition of “Jolly, Jolly Santa”, was introduced by Stefanie Lange and Aaron Roth.

“I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus”, was sung by the Grade 1 pupils. It was introduced by Tyson Zepick and Chance Heaton.

Emma Diack and Kyla White brought on the Grade 2 class, who sang “All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth”.

And the Grade 3 number, “Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer”, was introduced by Mackenzie Balogh and Kyle Demyen.

The entire K-3 choir then came onstage. Its first song, “Snowflakes”, was introduced by Caleb Diack and Jason BruisedHead.

“Christmas Candles”, with soloist Tyson Zepick, was introduced by Leslie Thomas and Carson Harcourt.

The choir’s next tune, “Christmas At The Hop”, featured dancers Sydney Toth, Cheyenne Lesiuk, Tyson Zepick, Kyla White, Katrina Kovach, John Dayman and Chance Heaton.

Scene 8, “Do You Hear What I Hear?”, was introduced by Jessica Szakacs and Nicole Tarr.

Scene 9, “Follow The Star”, featured Caleb Diack, Jessica Szakacs and Mackenzie Balogh, as Bells, and was introduced by Emma Diack and Stefanie Lange.

Chase Ripley and Katrina Kovach invited the audience to join in the singing of “Joy to the World”, which was followed by “Starry Night”.

The final number, “Feliz Navidad”, featured Chase Ripley, Aaron Roth, Jason BruisedHead and Kyle Demyen. It was introduced by John Dayman and Blythe Clemence, who served as Master and Mistress of Ceremonies for the concert.

The K-3 singing was led by a small choir, consisting of Emma Diack, Stefanie Lange, Madeline Steele, Nicole Tarr, John Dayman, Kyla Miskiman, Tyson Zepick, Tara-Lee LaRose, Wade Roppel, Carson Harcourt, Leslie Thomas, Sean Barath, Tabitha Vellacott, Kearstin Mytopher, Tanaya McKay and Alexandria Thomas.
