Seed Hawk of Langbank, a massive exporter and provider of efficient and environmentally safe farming machinery, managed to place themselves as winners in ‘The Saskatchewan Trade and Export Partnership Award for Exports’ category at the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce banquet held Saturday, October 25th in Regina.

Over 800 people from across Saskatchewan attended the 25th Annual Abex Awards where twelve awards were presented to the deserving companies. This particular category, which included five other finalists, was awarded to Seed Hawk because of their positive demonstrations and exceptional performance in exporting their product to other provinces and countries.

“It was an honor to attend the banquet, to be recognized in business and agriculture,” said Pat Beaujot, owner of Seed Hawk.

Seed Hawk has possessed the lead in environmentally safe farming while educating farmers around the world about safer procedures for a healthier and more profitable crop.

When a farmer decides it best to farm with zero till, they create a ‘carbon dioxide sink’, improving the climate, by taking the carbon dioxide out of the air and keeping it in the soil, which in turn helps the crops to grow more efficiently and keeps the air clean and dust away as well.

“Saskatchewan leads the world in zero tillage technology,” says Pat Beaujot. “We should be very proud, it took 20 years to perfect this technology. We are truly an environment success story.”
