To the Editor:
Thousands of delegates from around the world came here to Canada last month for an international aids conference. They each signed a temporary visitor contract promising that they would leave immediately after the conference was over, and would not try to stay here.
The conference ended three weeks ago but (more than 130, reports say) of them didn’t go home. Instead they hid and have now applied for refugee status claiming that if they go back to their countries they will not be treated as well as they would be here in Canada. Every one else among six billion other people on earth could say that.
Almost all of them are women. Almost all of them have Aids. They all lied.
They all are now costing Canadian tax payers millions and millions and millions in welfare, health care, housing, policing and administrative costs while we figure out how to get rid of them.
Given our bleeding heart immigration and refugee status laws, that could take years. Wonderful ! We now have hundreds more dishonest people illegally in Canada. Being women and having Aids is no reason to regard and treat them any differently. Being liars, sneaks and financial burdens on Canadian tax payers is a reason to regard and treat them differently.
One woman who did the same thing ten years ago is still here in Canada awaiting decisions by Canada’s lax immigration department on whether they should deport her or not. She’s cost us millions all by herself. Multiply what she costs by 200 for the current lot. Will they still be here ten years hence? They’ll cost us a billion.
The organizers of the conference actually had the unmitigated gall to try to argue on the national TV late news tonight that it’s ok for these liars, sneaks and creeps to do what they’ve done. That’s awful.
I am not in favour of them being allowed to stay. Hoof them out right now.
I am not in favour of any more such deceitful bleeding heart conferences being held here in Canada. Never again.
We need to deliver a message to the rest of the world that Canada is not an easy mark. Either that or expect millions of refugees, immigrants, criminals, asylum seekers and God knows what else lying and sneaking their way into Canada.
