To the residents of Kipling and area,
Thank you to the residents of Kipling for attending the blood donor clinic held on Tuesday, December 5 at the Kipling Recreation Centre.
Canadian Blood Services would like to thank all our returning and new donors for helping make our clinic in Kipling a success. We collected 76 units of blood.
Each donation can be used in up to three ways. That means that 228 lives will be saved thanks to the generosity of the residents of Kipling and area. You are all true everyday heroes. The blood you donated will go to help cancer and leukemia patients, people undergoing surgery or victims of car accidents in Saskatchewan and Canada.
As well, we want to extend a big thank you to the volunteers who did an excellent job. Hosting such a successful clinic would not be possible without your help. We also need to thank the businesses, media and organizations in your community that gave us their generous support.
Since the need for blood is ongoing, we are always looking for donors. Please join us next time we visit Kipling on Monday, March 12, 2007, at the Kipling Recreation Centre. We are already booking appointments. For more information please contact Canadian Blood Services toll free at 1-888-2-DONATE (1-888-236-6283).
It’s in you to give.
