So, over the past week I have learned the importance of Red Bull, the energy enhancing drink. We have had extremely long days, lately, trying to get this movie done right. How long you may be asking? Try 6:30 in the morning until 12:30 at night! Twice! In a row! But other than that my time here has been very well spent.
I have met so many people down here and we were discussing how we just can’t get over the fact that there is now only two more days of shooting and then we’re done! I made a movie! I know, it’s weird! What’s even weirder is that I can’t wait to get back to Kipling! I know. I thought I would get the L.A. fever and never want to leave, but I guess it didn’t hook me fast enough. That just means that I have to come back to L.A. and then maybe I’ll stay.
On a completely different topic, today is my day off. So, I will be going up to Hollywood Boulevard to shop for my sister Emily’s grad present. Congrats! Then after that five dollar trip to the drink machine, I am going to the set to watch some of the other actors’ scenes. Then I’m going to get pictures done for the movie poster. Fun Fact: The photographer that is taking all the pictures is Mark, the guy who traded the Kiss Snowglobe! He’s pretty cool and he might be sending a couple of pictures to The Citizen. Just a heads up, Mike. I am going to finish the day off with another Dominos delivery pizza, watch an old movie, have an hour and a half long shower, then off to dreamland. It sounds like fun, but really . . . IT’S AWESOME!
Well, I guess to sum up the trip, it’s been radical! I just want to thank everyone in Kipling who voted for me on the Labour Day Weekend, everyone that supported me and believed that I could do it. You gave me more power than any energy drink. I want to thank all the teachers in Kipling High School for putting up with me and teaching me the things that I need to know. Also, anyone who I have been in drama with.
Thanks all but I have to go. I sent a couple of pictures from the view from my hotel room, but only two, I have to leave some room for that Random Thoughts crap. (Just jokes! Love you Dad . . . seriously read his article, it’s good).
