The sympathy of this community is extended to Stan Hammett, his daughters Maureen, Cheryl and Laurel, his sons Robert and Kevin, and their families on the passing of their wife, mother, and grandmother Edith Hammett who passed away in Regina Hospital on September 2. Sympathy also to all other relatives. Our thoughts are with you.

Amy Glydon, Betty Jean Tholl and Verna Patzwald from Lemberg motored to Hannah, N.D., on August 30 and 31. They visited Amy’s cousin Marilyn Helt and her husband Virgil. They also visited other cousins in the area. Glad to hear you had a great time.

David and Jackie Biesenthal from Regina spent the long weekend with his parents Bill and Kathy Biesenthal.

Ian and Stephanie Mor-rison from Moose Jaw visited last weekend with his parents Grant and Wanda Morrison.

Visiting Jerome and Helen Hengen last weekend were Deb and Dwight Bowmander from Regina and Liz McDougall and family from Lumsden.

Fred and Eileen Coppicus from Estevan visited at the home of Bud and Helen Plein last Saturday. Bud returned home from the hospital last Friday.

Last Sunday niece Sharon Hingtgen and husband Jim and family from Weyburn visited at the Bud Plein home on the way to their home from Kenosee Lake where they camped for a few days.

“Get well” and Thinking of you,” wishes to all our sick people.

Fire Sunday afternoon in Kerslake’s field south of town destroyed about two acres of barley and some stubble.
