Last month Julie Pinney from New Westminister, B.C. spent a week holidaying with John and Hilda Izsak and family. Later in the week Ed and Deanna Rogalski from Esterhazy came to have supper with John and Hilda and Darren and Sheila Szakacs and family paid an evening visit. Julie is John’s sister.

Last week Hector Alverez and Susana Cantu from Monterey Mepico were supper guests of John and Hilda Izsak and family.

Word has been received of the passing of Ethel Leggett, a longtime Kipling resident, at the age of 93. Ethel had suffered a stroke about a month ago and has been in hospital since. She passed away quietly in Toronto at North York Hospital, Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 22. There will be no funeral at this time. Daughter Gail Stirling and Diane Klufas will arrange for her funeral at a later date.
