Kipling’s Summer Slam Volleyball Skills Camp was a huge success, with 50 athletes participating in three days of conditioning, focusing on developing passing, setting, hitting, blocking and serving skills, as well as transitioning and court play.  Mickey Adams and members of the Southeast Stingers led enthusiastic athletes from Kipling, Windthorst, Kennedy, Corning, Grenfell, Glenavon and Montmartre through six sessions each.  Kipling Parks and Recreation is proud to announce SaskTel, Dairy Producers and Windthorst Fine Foods as sponsors of the nutrition breaks and Southeast Connection Sport, Culture & Recreation District as an additional sponsor of the camp.

Kipling & District Swimming Pool wrapped up the 2008 season with a day-long Pool Party on August 26th - a great ending to a fabulous summer!  The day was filled with exciting activities for all ages, complete with hot dogs and prizes.

Kipling Minor Soccer is set to begin its fall season.  If you missed the registration night on August 28th, call Chris Toth at 736-2668.  Anyone wishing to assist with coaching duties will be greatly appreciated.
