Here’s your friendly reminder to put on those walking shoes and think pink!

The Kipling Legion Auxiliary will be sponsoring a Breast Cancer Walk-a-Thon and invite the Kipling and neighboring communities to walk-a-long!

Participants for the Walk-a-Thon will be meeting at the Legion at 1:45 and will begin their 5 km walk at 2:00 on Saturday, October 4th. Pledge sheets are available at Kipling Credit Union, Balfour Drugs, Kipling Pharmasave, Manns’ Food in Kennedy and Kipling, and Windthorst Fine Foods.

This Breast Cancer Treatment Fundraiser will be hosting a supper following the Walk-a-Thon at 6:30pm. Merchandise for ‘Breast Cancer Action Saskatchewan’ will be available at the Legion Hall during the supper event. Tickets are currently being sold at Manns’ Food, Credit Union, Balfour Drugs and Pharmasave.
