The Medieval Feast being sponsored by the Kipling and District Lions Club is only three weeks away.
That’s right folks-the big evening of gala and fun is Saturday, March 10 at the Kipling Community Centre.
Tickets for the nomination and selection of the King and Queen are now available. One ticket one vote and you can vote as often as you like by multiple purchasing of tickets at $1.00 each.
All proceeds go to Kipling Lions Projects. All purchasers will be entered for a draw of three prizes.
Please get out and support your candidate.
Running for King are Kelly Guider, Duana Leicht and Tye Cancade.
Candidates running for Queen are Christina Weeding, Nicole Lyons and Jill Dorrance.
Crowning of the King and Queen will be part of the opening ceremonies.
Tickets for the door are now available at Balfour Drugs, Kipling Citizen, Kipling Pharmasave and Manns’ Foods in Kipling and Kennedy. Cost is $12.50 each or $25.00 per couple.
Doors will open at 5:30 P.M. There will only be 150 tickets sold first come first serve basis, as we need floor space for the games and entertainment. We recommend you purchase your tickets early. Reservations can also be made for a table of eight with the purchase of 8 tickets for $100.00 if you want to come as a group. Attendance is restricted to those 19 years of age and over.
There will be jesters in attendance, excellent food with “limited cutlery” so practice your finger eating talents. Lion Mike and Lion Gord will also have some new games. There will be prizes for costume dress as well as prizes for games.
This is a fun evening and the Lions look forward to seeing you on Saturday, March 10 at the Kipling Community Centre.
