Laura passed away at St. Paul’s Hospital June 22, 2008. She is survived by her children: Marjorie (Don) Migneault, Carol (Don) Smith, Larry (Tina) Wilton; grandchildren, Laurel (Scott) McDougall, Shelly (Ken) Rosette, Shawn Migneault, Curtis (Shelayne) Migneault, Kevin (Penny) Smith, 13 great-grandchildren; brother, William (Geraldine) Kidson; brother-in-law, Bill Allenden; sister-in-law, Ethel (Melvin) White; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, William and Lily Kidson; sister, Mary Allenden; son, Glen Wilton; and great grandson, Justin McDougall.
She was born October 19, 1921 at Cannington Manor, Saskatchewan. After completing her high school by correspondence she obtained her teaching certificate. She taught school for many years retiring in 1985. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, travelling, reading, gardening, sewing and knitting. In 2006 she moved to Saskatoon to Abbeyfield House and later to the Northern Lights Care Home.
Funeral services were held June 27, 2008 in the Langbank United Church with interment in Kennedy Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Carscadden’s Funeral Chapel, Moosomin, SK.
