Alfred Izsak, Kipling, Sask. passed away on Friday, August 8, 2008, at the age of 73 years. The funeral service was held in the Old Bekevar Presbyterian Church, Bekevar District on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Ivy Veysey and Pastor Richard Barta officiating. Interment in Bekevar Cemetery. The casket bearers were: Ronnie Izsak, Clark Izsak, Blaine Marton, Kurtis Niebergall, Russ Daku and Ernest Nyeste.
Alfred was predeceased by his father Thomas in 1986; mother Anne in 1966; twin brother Arthur in 2004; one nephew Irwin Fulop in 2000 and one niece Sheila Fulop in 1988. He is survived by his daughter Lisa (Kevin) Kish, Kipling; son Glen Izsak, Winnipeg; two sisters Elsie Fulop, Kipling and Linda (Jim) Campbell, Regina; two brothers Edward (Vivian) Izsak, Kipling and Leonard Izsak, Regina; one sister-in-law Julie Izsak, Kipling and also his nieces and nephews.
The arrangements were entrusted to Keith Hawken of Tubman Cremation and Funeral Services.
